Just like Starbucks!

The revamp of the waiting room is now finished with the installation of TV screens and a hot drinks machine. With so many of our clients travelling long distances we felt it would be a welcome thing to have, its not that the vets want espresso in the morning and the nurses hot chocolate, not at all!

Nurse Needed - Dubai or Dursley?

Dubai or Dursley that is the question, well not really the answer is Dubai, one of our nurses has an exciting job in a brand new practice out there. So if you are an RVN and would be interested in coming to work at Vale Vets give me a call or send an email. Sadly it wont be as warm as where Clare is going (can't think why she chose Dubai!)

Easter Safety!

Happy Easter from all at Vale Vets! Please remember that chocolate, onions and dried vine fruit such as grapes are all toxic to dogs, so no eggs or hot cross buns for them. If you are being healthy and giving flowers instead of chocolate please be careful with lilies as these are toxic to cats.
If you ever have any poison concerns please ring us straight away, we are closed on bank holidays but always staffed for emergencies, whatever the day or time.

It's not fat, it's fur!

New year is always the time our minds turn to diet and exercise and it can be a similar challenge for our pets! So if  your pet has gained a few pounds over this horrible wet winter then why not come in and see our clinic nurses Clare and Anne for some free diet advice. Just ring reception to make an appointment for a weigh in and a tailored weight loss plan (appropriate for cats, dogs and small furry pets alike!)
